The Roosevelt named after the Roosevelt Hotel on Hollywood Blvd. It is the the oldest continually operating hotel in Los Angeles.The first Academy Awards ceremony was held at the Roosevelt. Since then the the hotel is known for shooting numerous movies and shows in Hollywood. The hotel was named after Teddy Roosevelt who was a rebel in his own way. He was America's youngest president, and served without a VP. At one point he was shot and continued with his speech.
